I'M BACK IN AUSTRALIA! (but only for a second!) Then OFF TO SEE THE WORLD!!
I'm in Brisbane, to be precise, where I am nestling into the warm cucoon of my family company, enjoying the familiar smells of Summer in QLD, and spending wwaayy too much time at the beach. But I'm only here for two short weeks, (to sort out Visa's and boring paperwork) before I trot off overseas to meet up with my man and to do some exploring.
I will be spending the next little while travelling through Europe, learning about different cultures and immersing myself in the expansive, enormousness which is the big bad world out there! I hope I will learn many, many things about where I sit in the great scheme of things, that I will learn more about myself and evolve my art. I'm looking forward to expanding my horizons- coz this small town girl knows there's a whole world out there that needs to experience the Ms Fitz treatment!!
I'm tres excited!PS- I'll leave you with this little gem published last week in GRAZIA. (You may recognize this photo Elvis took) HHaahaa! It's an article about all the sordid things going on at the Ivy Hotel, the infamous den of the fabulously wealthy and well connected.
HHaha, no wonder they used a stock photo of me huh? Its ALL ROCK AND ROLL, Baby!

Ms Fitz- Werkin' hard

Its about time for an update on everything I've been up to :)
Chewy and I moved uptown to Spanish Harlem on Riverside. Its way gorgeous/grimey, totally Dominican area- the food is incredible- there are men playing Domino's on the side walk, hoodrats on every corner, old women selling pineapple on a stick for a dollar (I've become obsessed) and Spanish music BLARING from every apartment. Its the real deal!! I love it, I feel like I'm getting a real New York experience!
We shot an incredible story for DUKE Magazine last week down in Brooklyn with Anna Marcella and the incredible model / socialite / muse / rapper Contessa.

Also I'm sorting out my Visa, ickky expensive business that it is!

D&G use Chew Fu's remix in Milan 2010 - and works with Mariah Carey and Wiley. (Not together though, ha! Can you imagine?)
Spring/Summer 2010 Womenswear Runway in Milan last week.
Massive props to my boy Chew Fu!!
While we're on the subject of Chew Fu, I need to give him a virtual high five (or I could just give him one in person coz he's sitting next to me) BUT I think virtual is better- Coz he's been kicking some serious ass in the past few weeks.
Official Remix for Mariah Carey's new single- "I wanna Know What Love Is" for Def Jam.
Not Bad at all :)

Pablo's Harlequin

Cody Bayliss.
He is an enigma.
I was inspired by the dark, quiet element in Cody's personality, and a series of portraits of harlequins by Pablo Picasso. I Art Directed and Styled this series of images in his honour- shot by the wonderful Matt Reed.
You may of heard of Cody Bayliss. He's off beat, wonderful, and inspiring. Part time fashion designer (as seen on Germany's Next Top Model), part time stylist and part time muse- he is constantly evolving and changing, much to his fans' delight.
Creepy, lovely.

Starry, Starry Night
"ZOMBIES, VAMPIRES AND MUMMIES" Trends in pop culture & Ms Fitz designs for Hollywood Flesh
And it also makes me think about how little I've changed.
I mean, my work is a little less 'obvious' now (to use a fashion term I really dislike) but the themes are essentially the same.
Archetypal characters, bad ass bitches and pop culture. Yep, that about sums it up.
I read somewhere that the Vampire is like the cockroach of literary and popular culture. It just never goes away. I like that. We've seen a rush of vampire/zombie inspired stuff lately - from Diplo's latest incarnation Major Lazer, to the 'teen sensation' films (as they say), 'Twilight'.
I've been obsessed with classic horror and scifi for quite some time, but recently read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, which is an incredibly beautiful, bitter sweet horror novel that was almost unbelievably, written nearly 200 years ago. I love the themes throughout classic horror tales, of unrequited love, loneliness and the monster within all of us; the nuances of the human condition and the desire to belong.
But I'll leave you with a collection I co-designed a little back for killer label called "Hollywood Flesh", with Lindsay Rose (pictured above together) who is another amazing designer cum Burlesque performer based in Qld, Australia.
It's called "Godzilla Versus the Hollywood Flesh Eating Vampire Women!!"
The collection was made up primarily of handprinted Shantung Silks, with one print being the heads of kamono dragons layered over and over to achieve a Escher like pattern.
I even had this incredible Japanese graffitti artist do up a bilingual piece, which reads Hollywood Flesh in katakana, and in English.
A handful of you may have seen this before, but a majority of you probably haven't- So here goes:

This hood was SO fucking big! Holy shit it was so fun to hide in! And get this- it was totally reversible- red shantung silk on one side and electric blue checks on the other. DOPENESS.WORK.
Peace out biatchess

Brooklyn Dreaming

In the past week or so I have the pleasure of meeting an incredibly dynamic character, Brooklyn based artist Jordan Fox.
A great friend of mine, Elvis Di Fazio met Jordan in New York about a year ago and told me that if I went to New York, I had meet him. Right On!
Jordan told me he was having a street sale in Brooklyn last weekend so I trepidaciously got on three trains and went down town to meet the man I'd heard so much about.
I was not dissapointed!! I was introduced to the amazing Cantessa Stuto (hot bitch/ Party Thrower Extraodinaiirree), HirothaJap (The most neon dude ever/Electro DJ) and the insightful and ethereal Gina Jean (who read my tarot cards).
Here are some piccies of our adventure, dancing, drinking and hanging out in Brooklyn.
Enjoy!

Dancing with Peaches in Brooklyn on the 20th June :)
I hope you're all aware of the DOPEST electro bizatch on the earth. Its the amazinngg, gender bending, hottie by the name of Peaches.
If you dont know who she is, then I feel very very sad for you.. but for those who do, would understand how much of an honour it would be to perform with an artist of her calibre.
Last year through a series of fortuitous events, I was put in contact with the lady herself and went onto bring together a team of back up dancers for her performance at Parklife in Sydney.
I styled the crew with a mash of the old school grimey steeze and this kinda sci fi tip, which was rad. Anyhoo, it was DOPENESS, there were 40,000 people watching.

I've stayed in touch with her crew- most notably her crazy, super talented stylist Vaughn Alexander, and recently asked me to bring together a crew of dancers for her upcoming performance in Brooklyn on the 20th of June.
FUCK YES.
I am currently looking for two more dancers to join me on stage, so pass this link onto your dancer friends in NY :)

Ms Fitz in New York- The first two weeks :)
Hey guys!! I'm in New York! Holy shit!!
And yes, its wonderful :)
One of my friends noted last week "It sounds like all you're doing is eating!! Will I even recognise you next time I see you?!" And I thought... probably not. Ha!!
Dating a big sexy latino means that we eat, alot, and often. Its great.
The food here in the states is the BEST, its cheesy, fatty and MEATY. I am probably turning into the size of a house, but whatevs!!
Speaking of houses, here's the view from our apartment :)
We're upper West, just along the top of central park heading towards Harlem. Its a beautiful area, pretty quiet and totally safe (okay Mum? hah)
I've started taking dance classes three times a week at Broadway Dance Studio(around the corner from here:)

And generally just chillaxing and trying to work out my next plan of action. I've been finalising my new website and showreel for the past two weeks- i can't hit the pavement until they're perfected so I've been forced to stop, breathe and reflect on what I really want for the next little phase in my life. I've even been writing some rhymes.
In the meantime, I got my nails did in Harlem:

(and yes, I got our names on my fingernails :0) hhahha)Ate fried bananas (yummerz) at a traditional Dominican family feast with Chewy's New York Fam:
(Great photo Fraz :))Started riding the subway by myself (YAYY!!)
Eaten noodles in ChinaTown
Been shopping at Patricia Feild's boutique on the Lower East(see new dress) Necklace made by yours truly:
And been attending music industry parties:(hah wow the boys look really drizzunk)

But most of all, I'm loving spending time with my beautiful Panda Bear, Chewy..
For all you cats that have known me for a while- and for those that haven't..Before I met Chewy, I was the quintesenntial Single Gal, looking for love in all the wrong places- jerks and assholes, (hey, I've even been a bit of a bitch along the way too) and I really thought that I wouldn't find love.. I thought that a girl like me- strong willed, independent, loud, creative and off beat would never find a man to adore, who would accept and cherish me. And BAM!
Holy shit!! I meet this beautiful, kind, sweet, uber talented man who treats me like a princess and makes me feel like the most specialest, uniquest, amazingest woman in the world.
And now, I'm in New York, and I'm in love.
So ladies, don't give up! If a girl like me can find love, then there's certainly hope for everyone :)
Kisses from this side of the globe to you,
Lovelove

I'm wearing Melissa Plastic shoes (i heart them, Chewy bought them for me :)) Topshop Skirt I bought online (yeah I love shopping online!!) Ken Done Bag, Ksubi Sunnies, Amanda's Belt and my space-super-hero vintage jacket!!
I dont think you need to wear Balenciaga Boots and carry Prada POWERBAGS to have great style, and this just goes to show- you dont need the moolah to rock tha steeze!!

Ms Fitz on Australia's Next Top Model
With last nights launch of Australia's Next Top Model I thought I might do a bit of a post on my experiences with fashion reality television :) It hasn't been vast experience, but its been enough for me to form some kind of opinion.
Last year I styled a challenge on an episode of Germany's Next Top Model, who were in town to shoot an episode.
It was crazy fun- my mate Cody Bayliss landed the gig and I was asked to style together a runway show using his pieces. Much to the German judges disgust!! I'm pretty sure he says something like "this looks like it could have been done by a kindergartner". HA!
Yeah, probably. I just really liked the idea of passing off some bang up, hand sewn, spray painted vintage leotards as 'hi-fashion' and seeing if anyone pulled me up on it. What a joke.
(The over zealous producer kept getting in my face at the casting "So, can you explain to me again on film exactly WHY you DON'T like Mindy??")
Anyhoo, a few series' back a very close friend of mine came runner up on ANTM. We (albeit naively) encouraged her to audition, and being the striking hottie that she is, came 2nd.
I cant speak on her behalf, and I can't honestly make up my mind as to whether it was worth it for her in the end. There were definite positives and negatives that came with the experience.
I not saying that I would never be involved in a Next Top Model series- infact, we were in talks about it this series (but that's another story). I think it could be a really fun experience. But I'm having a really hard time working out how I feel about it all. On one hand, the punk in me thinks its all a big joke, something to poke fun at, on the other I'm kind of outraged by it all, and on the other, it is just what it is- a television show. (wow, how did I end up with THREE HANDS??)
I have mixed emotions about the Australian 'Next Top Model' series, mostly because I believe it shows the Australian Fashion industry as this elitist, bitchy, closed doored industry, where if you "don't make it NOW, within the context of this television show, you wont ever have a chance again".
As you see above, I was asked to come along and appear in the model's 'launch to the industry': the whole scene made me feel a bit icky - "THIS is the crowd you want to impress" (screenshot of WAYNE COOPER and then me.. jesuz if we're the best the industries got, we're in dire straights) - so I spent the arvo getting blotto on free champagne and harassing the waitstaff for canapes. ha
They offer to give the contestants the world- the glamour , the glitz, the money- but the experience comes as a double edged sword. On one side, the girls are given incredible exposure, but on the other- they are stuck with the stigma of being 'a reality television' star.
Of course, this isn't exclusive to ANTM, it holds true for all talent based reality television.
As a side note though, I must say, I really prefer So You Think You Can Dance over ANTM. I guess the difference is that there is more room for growth on SYTYCD- you can better your point and turns each week; we can see the 'journey', as they say. But on ANTM the audience can tell who the winner should be on the first day.. and you can't exactly make your legs any longer, or your eyes any bluer to change it. So they create some kind of narrative out of drama and bitchiness.
The contestants are woken up in the middle of the night, sleep deprived- edited in a way to exacerbate certain personality traits.. The nice girl becomes the Angel, the quirky girl becomes the crazy girl, the strong girl becomes the bitch, the country girl becomes the bogan.
And the reason why they do that is pretty simple: to make good, cheesy, addictive television.
And don't we love it??!! Such a guilty pleasure.
I feel about ANTM like I do about porn, or KFC.. feels really good at the time but afterwards you feel kinda yuckky.
Love loveeee,
Ms Fitz

MAISE Fashion Show- Shoes and styling by Ms Fitz
The show was last night- the 21st of May - and it was off the hook! So much fun!
Thanks to Under The Wing PR, it was packed out to capacity and all the mags were there! Grazia, Marie Clare, Harpers, Vogue, Russh, Shop Til You Drop and more :) It was a really sweet mash up of the Sydney elite fashion set and the grimey underground scene.
Taking inspiration from the collection's name "The M Team"- we put together something a little street, but very beautiful.
We were inspired to put together something with an over all theme of Competition. I liked the idea of a StreetFighter feel mixed with a sporty element... I saw the models as some super team- an ass kickin', chun li style, sexy streetgang! These bitches are bad!! hhahahhaaa!
SO the location was at 140 Cleveland St- A beautiful enormous warehouse owned by some outstanding young hotties/artists, with amazing murals all over the wall. It felt very grimey- and a bit abandoned; it was like show was at the M Team's secret sparring location- they'd come here to practice their uppercuts before heading out into the streets to whoop ass..!!
Anyhoo, so we made up netted body suits with hectic shoulder pads to go under the outfits- DOPE. And I customised all the shoes with Basketballs on the heels. Pretty punchy shitt! Then we put zips up the T Bar and gold chaining most everywhere else :) WOOAHH!! But didn't they come up nice?

All photos by Cybele - Check out www.bangbangdot.com I made some jewellery too for the show:
It was some twisted coloured roping (very sporty) and gold chains in these wierd noose-type formations.

The music was an exclusive mix put together by my man Chew Fu- (who's last fashion music was for the D&G show in milan)
And you'll neevveerrrr guess what track we used!! hHHAHA!! Totally pop trashy goodness!! But remixed to the shiiiiit and the BEST walking music- have a listen here.
(nb: I am just SO NOT into elitist trennddyyy runway music... "OMG we are totally gonna have the models walk to THE NEW HOTCHIP/KILLS/WHATEVER and its gonna be SOOOOO EDGGYYY")
Hair was by the Kevin Murphy Team- who put together the INCREDIBLE Marlene Deitrich meets Chun Li look. Uhhhh!!! SO GOOD! And totally unpredictable, which is the best thing :)
Make up was by the MakeUp Store- it was very minimal, except a yellow bottom lip.
A MAISE ING!!
Oh, yeah- thanks to our sponsor, vitaminwater (all lower case, one word, thankyou very much)
Photo: Jeff Yiu (don't I look hot?)
hhahahahahahha!!

Ms Fitz picks- Best Fashion PR Reps in Sydney

I got a cold call a few days ago:
Me: "Hi, This is Ms Fitz"
Chick: (pause...) "What..? Sorry? Who's this?"
Me: "Its Ms Fitz- you called me."
Chick: "I'm sorry, Who?"
Me: "Ms Fitz"
Chick: (pause)
Me: "YOU called ME" (I'm pretty confused at this stage, I had no idea who it was)
Chick: "Ohhh... okay.." (it was so not okay, she still had NO idea who she was calling)
Chick: (quite obviously reading of a sheet in front of her)
"... well, hi (mumble), I was just calling from (unnamed prominent PR firm) to let you know about our new range of sunglasses from (insert label here)..."
Me : Ohhhh, okay.
I let her finish reading her sheet, the poor thing was obviously some intern on work experience, totally nervous and knew that she'd fucked up. Then I politely told her that I would not be attending the showing. Oops. Way to make a good impression. Eeek!!!
Anyways, after this phone call I got to thinking about the all experiences I've had working with Fashion PR Agencies. What is good Fashion PR?
Its is the job of Fashion Pr Agent to bring the right kind of exposure to their client. Often they put together campaigns, organise sponsorship and lots of other hard and interesting things.
They build strong relationships with editors and stylists- they know their market and give personalised service to people in the industry who can assist their client/label in reaching their demographic or building their image. They also need to have the organisational skills to get the product to the project in time. Its a difficult job, and they have a lot of people to please.
And, as I'm sure you know, it is the job of a stylist to get the coolest, pre season clothing to use for editorial, film clips, artists and shows. And the way you get your hands on those clothes are through these Fashion PR agencies who hold the season's samples to lend out for appropriate exposure.
It can be a complex relationship, which can also be beneficial to all parties, when the right 'synergy' is found between brands.
So, I deal with PR peeps a lot. I have had experiences with many, but by no means all Fashion Pr reps in Sydney, and some have been more positive than others. Man, I have some stories about Pr girls and their attitudes. I'm not going to sugar coat it- It can be an ego minefield. Power games disguised as PR. I was going to go on an extended rant and give examples of all the bad experiences I've had with PR peeps, but then I thought- "Better not, they ARE pr Agents! They'd probably destroy me" hah! So I'll keep it positive :)
There are plenty of hugely talented, amazing young Pr girls and boys who are doing an standout job promoting their labels in Sydney.
I thought I'd put together a list of my five best Fashion PR companies I've had the pleasure to work with in my time here in Sydney. They've been helpful, friendly and above all, professional. They appreciate a good opportunity for their brand when it arises, and are open to new talent- which is invaluable in terms of longevity and evolution of a brand.
These Agencies have been incredibly reliable and helpful- if I were their clients, I'd be very happy with their representation.
1. Under The Wing PR
Tina Kalivas, Lonely Hearts Club, Deadly Ponies, Maise
These chicks are the coolest bizatches in Sydney. They're so young; its a new agency full of energy, laughter and drive.
They have a beautiful showroom on Bourke St in Surry Hills, and will definitely be the best in the biz in a few years :)
Contact: nicole@underthewingpr.com.au, sussan@underthewingpr.com.au

Ms Fitz artwork with Snob Scrilla on the cover of The Brag

Yo!!
My man Snob Scrilla is killin' it at the moment.
His tracks are banging, a bit hip hop, a little bit new wave and still with a concious vibe. I dig it, really.
Snob asked me to help art direct and style together his press shots- so we came up with a few images that I felt were in vibe with his personality and sound- here is one of them on the cover of The Brag this week. Here he is wearing an Adidas Originals hoodie and K1x jeans.
See my hand?? Hhhaaaa!!

UnimPRESSed :)

And here, in this weeks TimeOut Magazine- me stickin my butt out- looking not unlike an angry lesbo that hasn't been laid in, like a 6 months (which at the time wasnt that far from the truth), and also looking like a 50 yr old tranny with my girl Anna Lunoe. These photo's were taken over a year ago (I cant believe I wore that 'ensemble') and must have been floating around on someone's hardrive since then, only to be resurrected to create a 'super cool' montage for the scenesters. Hmm.

And again - I've been to the One Love Parties twice in my whole life- once in Melbourne 4 years ago and then once in Sydney last year. Both nights I was dragged along by friends, got into arguments with Security Guards and bimbos, but were otherwise pretty unmemorable. They would have been, however, if only my photographs didnt turn up on the COVER for their 'Dance Compilation' CDs.
TWICE.
Two years in a row.
Dammit. I certainly didnt consent to that shit! Can you imagine?? "Woooooo! Ms Fitz at One Love!! WOOOO! Yeah! Where's my Bacardi Breezer?! YEAAAHHH!! I LOVE CARL COX!!" hhhahahaha! Pssh.
Hey, I'm not complaining, its all getting my face out there- But Shiiit. If youre getting some kind of "cool credit" for using my image for your wack ass party then I'm gonna be pissed off or at least getting paid, motherfucker. BRRRAPP!!
But what if you weren't cool with it? And where does it stop? For example, "Someone takes a snap of you at a party and six weeks later your face is being used to promote Condoms in Nigeria..!" (Jess French, 19/3/09) You gotta be careful peeps! Ha!
Lovelove!

Me on JJJ "Inside the mind of a Door Bitch" and The Things People Say to Get into Exclusive Parties.
Photo: Jeff Yiu - Me workin the door at the most recent No Answer Party.So- I take my doorbitchin job pretty seriously. I think of a Door Bitch in the European sense, she must look SPECTACULAR, totally dressed up to the nines with a no nonsense attitude to match :) Last night I was dressed as Rhianna (including black eyes and SnM gear) and my super sexy boyf came dressed as Chris Brown HHAAA! Totally un-PC and hilarious!
After Door Bitchin last night at the GAY BASH MARDI GRAS PARTY- (holy shit it was hectic and fun), I think I need a de brief!! We had 600 pre-bought tickets and a VIP list that was 400 people long, so I had to be on top of my game; co-ordinating a team of 3 other door staff (who were the best, thanks Jesse, Emma and Max) to make sure everyone got inside with as little drama as possible to the four level MEGA GAY BASH MARDI GRAS PARTY we were throwing.
It was an AMMAAZIINGG night! Everyone had a ball and there were some epic costumes! I think I probably made about a mmmiiillion enemies and there were some serious dickheads trying to get in without paying (read: MTV dude and Ksubi hangers on) but I was solid as a rock!! The night was a huge success!
So it was the hottest ticket in town, and I was the gatekeeper. And at $60 a pop, there were alot of people who reaaallly wanted to skeeze in without being on the list. Ha! Not on my watch!!
Here are some gems I got last night, along with my responses..
1. "I know Mickey Nolan"
Me: HHAAA! I know babe, we're ALL friends of Mikey Nolan. Its really coooooll to know the Ksubi kids, but if you're that good a friend, I would have your name down here already.
2. "I work for (insert Obnoxious Media Entity / Record Label here)."
Me: "Thats great and I'm really proud of you for having such an IMPRESSIVE JOB sweetie, but unless your obnoxious media outlet is Sponsoring or Covering the party, then you gotta pay like everybody else."
3. (dude says after grilling me for ten minutes and seeing that he's not getting anywhere and deciding to change tact)
"I'm sorry for being difficult."
Me:" Oh, thats okay babe! I've been dealing with a lot of egomanicial jerks throwing their weight around tonight. " (I really said that. YES! TAKE THAT MTV DUDE!)
4. "But you let my friend in."
Me: Yeah, I probably did.
5. "I'm on the list, my name is Such and Such"
Me: "You're not Such and Such. I know Such and Such."
LIARRRR!!! Nothing gets past me!!
6. "Blah Blah said I could have their doorspot"- Alright people, here's the thing- Doorspots are for the people WHOSE NAME IS ON THE LIST, that the whole POINT of a doorlist. They're not just free tickets to pass to your flatmate/girlfriend's best mate/next door neighbour. Rah.
7. Here's one I got working a different party but I had to put it in here;
"You just let my friend in, and he has cancer."
Okay, just take a second to think about that.
This chick used her FRIEND'S TERMINAL ILLNESS as blackmail to try and get into A NIGHTCLUB.
How fucked up is that??!! What kind of person DOES THAT???!!! Maaaann. I was so disgusted with this woman's form I told her to piss off.
I'll tell you what guys, if you reaaallly wanna get in and youre not on the list, heres the gem:
Be Polite, and be Patient.
Thats all, its not hugely complicated. But I've been dealing with rude, self important assholes all night and there's 500 more coming so if you take the time to be nice to me, I will do the same. I just want everyone to party :)
I did an interview recently with current affairs program Hack on Australia's Triple J.
Listen here to get my inside scoop about what its like being a doorwhore.

Ms Fitz for Trimapee at Sydney Fashion Week

With Rosemount Australian Fashion Week coming around the corner, I thought I do a bit of a retrospective on the show I was lucky enough to Style and Art Direct for Trimapee at last year's Fashion Week.
I'm looking forward to seeing the shows this year- hopefully I'll be styling a few too (ssshhhhh) and my boy Chew Fu should do some tracks too- he remixed a Kanye West track for the last Dolce and Gabbana Runway show in Milan :)
So, back to little old Aussie Fashion week- I styled the Trimapee show on opening night in 2008. Taking inspiration from their collection "Gods Mistakes" I interpreted it with a dark watery mood. The garments were very black which is outside of my comfort zone but they were great because the design lent to alot of styling interpretation. It ended up a little bit gothic-y which was cool.

I made all the jewellery too, out of seaweed beads and bolts and leather.
We customised all the Docs with glitter and sequins and seaweed material from the collection. The girls shoes are just stripper heels with black stockings over them and more leather and seaweed material over that... COOOooooollll huh?
Got pretty rave reviews too!! Georgina Safe from the Australian said something about me being the next Michelle Jank...Very flattering indeed, but I'll tell you whats- I'm not the next anyone, except MS FITZ!! :)

Ms Fitz for Tina Kalivas

Hey Lovers!!
Recently, Tina Kalivas asked me collaborate on a once-off capsule collection of accessories to compliment her beautiful Summer 08/09 collection, "Zarafshan". It was a bit of an honour really! Tina Kalivas is one of Australia's most respected and recognised high fashion designers, who cut her teeth working for Alexander McQueen and has since gone onto design over twenty collections, which are stocked world wide.
The collection was inspired by her collaboration with the community of Afghani women from Auburn, who created devine and intricate embrioderies which embellished the garments.
"I was really inspired by the embriodery pieces the Afghani women had created, they were so earnest and beautiful. I believe the term used in artistic circles is "Niave Art", so I really wanted to incorporate that into my designs. I used alot of traditional weaving and knotting techniques which are used the world over in ethnic design, but I put a Ms Fitz spin on it too, there's an element of modern street culture thrown in there too, and references to 90's hip hop fashion, which is my true love." - Ms Fitz
Das Super Paper (Feb 2009)

Hope you likeee!!Its available exclusively at Liberty of London (OMG!!) and Pretty Dog in Australia.

Dancing with Peaches
OH MY GOD!I was asked to coordinate a team of dancers for Peaches (Parklife Sydney show, 37 000 tickets- sold out). YIP!!So I got together the nastiest crew of trannie sluts I know, (ie my friends and others) who can dance and got crackin.
There was me, of course, and Michael Boyd came on board to choreograph (we met on Australian SYTYCD), his girl Sarah, along with Maid Mariam, Josh Flinn, Jack Mannix, Vesper White and Kevin Bava. Now we had the crew, we needed the outfits!
I tried to strike a balance between Peaches older grimy look, and her new schmick sci-fi-esque style. We had boys in lingerie, girls with glittery penises and these creepy masks. Of course, Romance was Born provided us with some killer holographic lycra pieces.

I flashed my boobs more times than I care to remember! Ha! What a trip! We WENT OFF!! Sarah danced til she spewed!I just remember looking into the audience during Shake Yer Dix and seeing this boy who looked like he was 18 and from the Shire and his eyes were lit up like a Christmas tree!! HAHAA! His expression was like 'WTF?! There's this fit blonde slut rubbing her tits right in front of me but shes wearing a fake DICK and an old man mask!!' I think he was just mesmerized- didn't know if he should have been ashamed of his hard on. It made me crack up, right there on stage- I laughed my ass off!
What a phenomenal experience! Peaches was a pleasure to work for, as well as her band, management and creative team. She's actually a really lovely woman! Funny bitch too. We partied literally, like rock stars into the wee little hours of the morning. But that's another story! :)
